Tutorial 1 – Class Debate and Reflection – Moral and Legal Status of Animals

A structured class debate activity in which students critically evaluate whether animals should be granted legal personhood in Australia. The tutorial develops students’ ability to analyse competing arguments and engage in reflective, critical discussion about the moral and legal status of animals.
